Abstract

In this paper, a new method utilizing a subspace-based interpolation error filter for narrowband (NB) interference suppression in direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) systems is presented. The performance of DSSS communication systems is studied when linear interpolation filters are employed for the estimation and subsequent suppression of the interference. The advantages of linear interpolation filters over linear prediction filters with an identical number of taps are also examined.
