Abstract
The article provides information about subsidence soils in the Kyrgyz Republic, about their properties and research. A review of the literatures of authors who were engaged in the study of subsidence soils is made. The purpose of identifying collapsible soils is to construct compacted foundations for pile foundations during the construction of construction elements.
