Abstract

A new subsample time delay estimation algorithm based on the fractional lower order theory, termed as EFMML (Explicit Fractional lower order Mix Modulated Lagrange), is proposed to combat impulsive α stable distributed noise. The convergence condition of the proposed method is analyzed and simulation results demonstrate that the suggested method is more effective than FSETDE (Fractional lower order Simplified Explicit Time Delay Estimation), an existing time delay estimation algorithm in impulsive noise environment.
