Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the role of lipoprotein antibodies and their relationship with T. gondii in aborted women who were reviewed to Kirkuk General Hospital in Kirkuk city / Iraq for the period from January 2017 to December 2017. Total of 160 aborted women plus 20 natural women who did not suffer miscarriage as control group. IgG and IgM antibodies have been investigated in women with T.gondii and anticardiolipin and control women. Women in the study were divided into four age groups and ten years apart from each category. The highest percentage of abortions was in the age 15-25 group. The lowest number of abortions was within the age group 25-35 years. The overall rate was 39%. It was the proportion of anticardiolipin IgG 33% and%6 of IgG + IgM for anticardiolipin with antibodies T.gondii. There was no case of acute infection IgM antibody.
