Abstract
Objective To Study the peri-implantal tissue health one year after dental implantation.Methods 26 dental implants were implanted in 20 patients with good local conditions,comparing with contralateral health teeth of themselves,One year later after restoration,modified plaque index,modified sulcus bleeding index,probing depth andmarginal bone loss were scored in an standard manner.Results There was no significant difference between the two groups,regarding all the indices observed.Conclusions Reliable effect can be achieved when ITI/straumann implant system is used on patients with good local conditions.
