Abstract

It is very necessary to ensure the oxygen level and obtain the good air quality inside when the plateau passenger train runs at high altitude. Therefore, integrated regulation of the oxygen supply and the fresh air should be carried out. Numerical calculation by Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) is used in this study. The concentration distributions of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the carriage under different operation modes of the oxygen supply system and the fresh air system are investigated, as well as the system energy consumption under the corresponding operation mode. The results show that the frequency conversion operation mode can effectively reduce the system energy consumption on the premise of ensuring the concentrations of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the carriage.
