Abstract

Objective To investigate the influence of nerve growth factor for the nerve conduction function of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy and study its nursing method. Methods Totaled of 96 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy in our hospital from November 2011 to November 2012 were randomly divided into control group (mecobalamine group) 48 cases and observation group (nerve growth factor group) 48 cases, and all the patients were intervened with targeted and careful nursing, then the total effective rate of nerve conduction function improvement, nerve conduction function indexes before the treatment and at 14th and 28th day after the treatment, satisfaction degree for the nursing of two groups were compared. Results The observation group('s) total effective rate of nerve conduction function improvement were higher than those of control group, nerve conduction function indexes at 14th and 28th day after the treatment better than those of control group,(all P < 0.05),there were all significant differences and the total effective rate of two groups for the nursing were both 100.00%.Conclusions The influence of nerve growth factor for the nerve conduction function of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy is more active, and the targeted and careful nursing is helpful for the smoothing of disease treatment and improvement of effect. Key words: Nerve growth factor; Diabetic peripheral neuropathy; Nerve conduction function; Nursing method
