Abstract

The clear toxicity of high concentration oxygen for lung tissue is acute lung injury (ALI), although it has been proved that hyperoxia can cause the apoptosis and necrosis of alveolar epithelial cells, but the effect of PI3K/Akt signaling pathway on alveolar epithelial cell apoptosis and necrosis, so far has not been clear, and the anti apoptosis methods are lack of effectiveness and specificity. Therefore, in-depth study and understanding of the mechanism of PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in hyperoxia induced acute lung injury, providing guidance for clinical treatment, and can also provide reference for the study of other causes of acute lung injury. Key words: Cell apoptosis; PI3K/Akt; Lung injury; Molecular regulation mechanism
