Abstract

T his paper combines the analytic and statistical methods to propose a dynamic ship domain for the movement state of different ships in different environments from the perspective of VTS watch keeper s . I t improves the practicality of the ship domain in VTS supervision. A ship collision early warning model is established on the basis of that ship domain, which properly enlarge s the horizontal plane of the ship domain model and adds the collision - judging method to make the model dynamic . After that, this paper randomly selected a vessel in Ningbo - Zhoushan Port as an example, and established the above - mentioned model s to verify the effectiveness.
