Abstract
The nonsteady stability evaluation means a judgement of rotor stability at an instant condition of (x, y, x^^·, y^^· ) while the usual method evaluates the stability at a static equilibrium condition of (x0 y0 x^^·=0, y^^·=0). In this report the 360 degree full bearing is studied. This bearing is always unstable by the usual method, but we find that it has the stable characteristics when it is evaluated by the new method.
