Abstract
Objective To study the efficacy and safety of montelukast combined with Budesonide in treatment of childhood asthma.Methods 97 patients with bronchial asthma,GINA guidelines meet the diagnostic criteria for bronchial asthma in children were selected.97 cases were divided into two groups,control group of 50 patients 47 patients in observation group.Children in normal control group inhaled budesonide 200μg,1/d,a total of 28 weeks of treatment.Routine observation group patients inhaled budesonide treatment at the same time,plus montelukast sodium tablets,each 4mg,oral administration of a second before going to bed every night,a total of 28 weeks of treatment.After treatment,patients were evaluated the efficacy observed indicators for the treatment of lung function before and after treatment,eosinophil counts,serum IgE,and to monitor the safety index.Results The clinical total effective rate in observation group was better than the control group( P <0.01 ) ;lung function before and after treatment in both groups,IgE levels,eosinophil counts were significantly improved( all P <0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group ( all P < 0.05 ).The monitoring of safety indicators,there was no abnormal changes.Conclusion Montelukast combined with budesonide for asthma in children was effective and good compliance,no significant side effects,safe and reliable,could be used as first-line choice in treatment of asthma in children,was worthy in extensive promotion.
