Abstract
MnO2 and LiFePO4/C composite materials were prepared by two-step sol-gel. The main peak patterns of lithium iron phosphate and manganese dioxide appeared in the analysis of the phase structure of composite materials. The SEM analysis shows that the particle quality of composite materials is obvious and the dispersion is better, and the particle size is mainly 168 nm. Magnetic hysteresis loops at room temperature show that the introduction of manganese dioxide causes the saturated magnetization strength of composite materials Ms (emu/g), residual magnetization strength Mr (emu/g) and the area of hysteresis loops (kOe emu/g) to increase with the increase of manganese dioxide. The Mossbauer spectrum of MnO2 and LiFePO4/C indicates that the main component of composite materials is high spin Fe2+ compounds.
