Abstract
Marine pollution has become ever more serious, and photocatalysts have potential prospects in the application of marine anti-pollution. The RGO/Bi2WO6 composite with the microsphere structure was synthesized by the hydrothermal method. The results showed that the sterilization rate of 2% RGO/Bi2WO6 coating increased to more than 93% under visible light. The high performance was attributed to the improvement of the charge separation efficiency and the enhancement of the utilization rate of light. The formation mechanism of microspheres was discussed. Radical capture experiments proved that hydroxyl radical was the major active substance. Photocurrent and EIS experiments indicated that 2%RGO/Bi2WO6 had excellent carrier separation efficiency.
