Abstract

The aim of the present work is to explore physical properties of alkaline earth metal based ternary compound Ba(AuH2)2 in superconducting state. In particular, thermodynamic critical field (Hc) has been calculated at 1 atm. Electron-repulsion parameter µ* = 0.12 is considered. The analysis has been performed in the frame work of the strong-coupling formalism. Moreover, we determined the dimensionless parameter which is related to the above thermodynamic function, RH=TcCN(Tc)/Hc2(0). Here CN is the specific heat in the normal state and Tc is the transition temperature. The obtained results differ from the values predicted by Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) model, due to the strong coupling and retardation effects, existing in the investigated sample.
