Abstract

In this paper, we use Monte Carlo simulations to study the influence of physical parameters on the magnetic properties of a cylindrical core/shell structure separated by nonmagnetic cylindrical surfaces. The coupling between the two cylinders includes the spins σ=3/2 and S = 2 belonging to the core and shell, respectively. This study is based on the RKKY (Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yoshida) type of interaction. In order to complete this study, we carry out the hysteresis cycles of the system under study for a different number of non-magnetic surfaces.
