Abstract

1. A single three-parameter function is used to describe the distribution of the diameters of microscopic spheres, the distances between them, and the angles between straight lines connecting the centers of adjacent microspheres. 2. The distribution of the microsphere diameters in the spherical plastic is identical to the distribution of the maximum diameters of the microspheres. 3. Analysis of the microsphere distribution in the plastic shows that the mutual location of the spheres in the sections corresponds to a hexagonal structure. 4. Empirical curves of microsphere distribution in the sections make it possible to select appropriate models for composite materials with an unordered structure.
