Individuals with chronic pain disorders such as musculoskeletal pain, headaches, fibromyalgia have been found to have low serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-OHD) but there is scarce information available on migraine. Consecutive migraine patients and controls were recruited in a specialty outpatient clinic from July 2011 to January 2013.
