Abstract

Conversion coefficients for the E1 and M1 transitions in the 44Ti decay have been measured with high accuracy using the sum peak and multidimensional coincidence methods. The following values have been obtained: αK(E1) = 0.077 ± 0.003 and αK(M1) = 0.014 ± 0.001. A significant contribution of the penetration effects for the M1 transition has been shown. The penetration parameter λ is determined to be −260 ± 30 has been determined.
