Abstract

Bemporad et al. recently outlined a profile of the Borderline Syndrome in Childhood seen in 24 patients. A comparison of 70 previously diagnosed borderline children with two control groups significantly distinguished the borderlines on Bemporad's criteria and supported his observation of high frequencies of child abuse and family disorganization.
