Abstract
The studies and experiments are supparted by the National committee of Economy, China, covers about 90% of the harvest area of winter wheat in China including 11 provinces. The prediction of production with accuracy of about 95% has been provided to the national and local organizations every year for food planning and field crop management. The technological principle of the study is to majorly use the vegetation index of NOAA/AVHRR data supplemented with the data of ground monitoring. The final estimation is completed by synthetic integration of different methods of yield prediction.
