Abstract

The authors consider the two-phase detonation of mixtures of a gas and condensed particles. A rule is formulated for selecting the velocity of the normal detonation, and the authors determine the Jouget point and the qualitative structure of the normal and supercompressed waves, depending on the relation between the characteristic heat-generation time, the particle heating time, and the relaxation time of the relative velocity of the phases.
