Abstract

The structure, phase composition and mechanical properties of Ni-base self-fluxing coatings, cladded by electron beam, revealed in the air atmosphere, were investigated. By variation of NiCrSiB-alloy/(Nb-B)-addition ratio (0-35 wt. %of (Nb-B)-compound) in the initial powder mixtures different phase composition of cladded coatings was obtained. Microhardness and wear resistance were measured to estimate quality of surface layers. The coating, cladded with maximum of Nb and B addiction (35 wt. %) demonstrates the highest level of these properties.
