Abstract

Mixed Ni-Mg-Zn ferrite system has been developed via solid-state reaction route, keeping in mind their valuable diversified technical applications. Formation of crystalline single phase having space group Fd3m has been determined using XRD analysis followed by rietveld refinement. Crystallite size, X-ray density, Lattice parameters were calculated. The dc conductivity was investigated as a function of temperature and found to exhibit a linear relation with temperature. Both activation energy and resistivity increased with replacement of Zn2+ ions by Mg2+ ions.
