Abstract

A series of hexaferrite samples with chemical composition Ba(1−2x)LaxNaxFe10CoZrO19 have been prepared by standard solid state reaction technique. The pellets of circular shape were prepared and sintered at 1250 °C in air for 3 h. Characterization using X-ray diffractometer and Scanning Electron Microscope shows predominant hexagonal magnetoplumbite (M) structure pertaining to space group 194-P63/mmc. The dielectric properties of samples were investigated in 100 Hz to 1 MHz frequency range at room temperature. Dielectric analysis of these hexaferrites shows the decrease in dielectric constant and increase in dielectric loss with increase in lanthanum-sodium doping.
