Abstract

Buses are the most common mode of transportation and a number of passengers travel in a single bus. It covers up to 90% of public transport in Indian cities. Although accidents are unpredictable but various safety measures can be taken to prevent injuries to the occupants. One step is to make the frame of the bus body more rigid and strong so as to absorb such forces during accidents. The goal of this work was to think about effect of frontal, side and back effect for the I-section of the bus body structure. The keen observation of the transport bus body structure frame is taken for the aggregate mishappening investigation at various materials and this paper gives impacts of materials structure steel, Epoxy carbon 395, Epoxy E-Glass and aluminum on the I-section of the bus body structure. The CAD model of the transport bus body is drafted in Creo 3.0 parametric and analysis examination is done on ANSYS 18.0.
