Abstract
The cover illustrates a unique design approach incorporating hydrogel-based ionotronics with composite layers. Hydrogel and ElectroActive Polymer (HEAP) multilayer composite materials are found to achieve the highest pressure change, and the third-highest flow rate among EAP-based composite pumping systems measured to date, suggesting potential for cardiovascular or renal model systems.
