Abstract

Multidimensional, anisotropic cosmological models with Ricci-flat subspaces are investigated within the framework of low-energy string theory. The main properties of these models, their behavior at early and late stages of evolution, in particular, are determined on the basis of a qualitative theory of dynamical systems. The conditions for dynamical compactification of extra dimensions are found. A concrete model with a Kalb — Ramond field as the source is considered as an illustration.
