Abstract

This article proposes the incorporation of a comprehensive internal communications strategy to shape organizational culture and improve employee engagement—with the ultimate goal of positioning libraries for leadership within changing public discourse. The article also details specific strategies and tactics to strengthen relationships and understanding between senior leadership teams and frontline staff in order to ensure that the new communication plan is successful.
