Abstract
The weak nonmesonic decay of Λ hypernuclei gives information on the strangeness changing weak baryon baryon interaction. The parity violation of the process has been studied by observing weak nonmesonic decay of polarized Λ hypernuclei. Study of the inverse process pn → pΛ gives much cleaner information on the process. Recent progress on the experimental study is presented.
