Abstract

Based on the low energy QCD Lagrangian theory and the crossingsymmetry relation, strange meson photo-production and itsassociated radiative capture on the proton are investigated in the[SUSF(6)⊗O(3)]sym.⊗SUC(3) quark modelof baryon structure with only one same input parameter, the onlystrong coupling constant αM. Calculations for the crosssections, p-polarization of γ+p→K++Λ reaction and the branching ratios for K− radiativecapture of K−+p→γ+Y with Y = Λ,Σ0 are performed. Good agreements to data areobtained and the results show that, compared to traditionalphenomenological models, the low energy QCD Lagrangian theoryprovides a successful, unified description of the strange mesonphoto-production and its associated radiative capture.
