Abstract
The author, now Mrs. D. W. Phillipson, gives an account of the drystone ruins in the South Nyanza district of Kenya, most of which she ascribes to earlier Luo inhabitants. The field work on which this is based was carried out when she was assisting on the Bantu Research Project of the Institute.
