Abstract
In this paper a new mathematical model of Single-Phase Flux Reversal motor (FRM) steady-state modes applicable for its optimal design is described. A new embodiment of FRM designed for fan or pump applications is proposed. Efficiency and energy efficiency class of FRM is higher than of an interior permanent-magnet motor. At power less than rated power the efficiency difference becomes greater which is significant at a fan load.
