Abstract
The paper presents a linearized model of self-excited synchronous reluctance generator for stand alone operation. The proposed model has been applied to obtain eigenvalues for steady-state stability analysis of self-excited synchronous reluctance generator under different operating conditions. In this paper, the effects of active, reactive, apparent power output and excitation capacitance on the steady state performance of self-excited synchronous reluctance generator are explained.
