Abstract
Factors influencing the service life of the contacts of magnetic starters of submersible electric motors have been established. The main 5 factors have been ranked by the degree of influence using the method of expert assessments. Statistical material has been collected for each of the main factors and statistical distributions have been found that are in satisfactory agreement with the data of operational observations.
