Abstract

Linear time-varying singular systems E(t) x ̇ = A(t)x + B(t)u are treated. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of linear state feedback to eliminate impulsive behavior is derived. The condition obtained is a natural extension of existing time-invariant theory.
