Abstract
This case pertains to the functioning of STARLINE India Limited (SIL), one of India’s small but known courier companies. It was founded in 2013 and continues to be a key player in the courier industry. SIL books a wide range of consignments, from small parcels to full truck/air-load, for both domestic and international movements. The case provides a post-facto detailed note on operations at SIL focusing on multifaceted problems related to booking, handling and deliveries of packages. The case is suitable for postgraduate students of project management programmes, specializing in operations management and also for the participants of management development programmes in project management.
