Abstract
AbstractWith the application of the concrete-filled-steel tube (CFST) in civil engineering, which is a composition material, the overcrossing ability of arch bridge get advanced development. For long-span and small width-span ratio arch bridge, the unstability collapse is one of structure damage forms. This kind of damage happens abruptly without obvious premonitory symptom. Transverse stability of a deck-type CFST arch bridge in Gansu Province, with main span of 180 meters, width-span ratio of 1/20.7 is studied, by using three-dimensional finite element models of the bridge, and the transverse stability of the bridge during the process of construction and the statues of the completed bridge are analyzed respectively, taking into consideration of the influence of the spandrel arch, and deck elastic restraints.
