Abstract
It is shown that nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time measurements can be used for a precise determination of the sliding velocity of the electrically depinned modulation wave in incommensurate charge density wave systems. NMR relaxation time measurements are much more suited than are NMR lineshape measurements for a determination of the distribution of sliding velocities of multi-domain samples.
