Abstract

The ball-like spinel ZnCo2O4 (ZCO) electrode is proposed for capacitive desalination in article number 2100125 by Wei Si and Haibo Li. It exhibits prominent sodium-ion adsorption capacity, such as ultra-high specific capacity and remarkable cyclic stability. Most significantly, the desalination mechanism as well as the preferential removal behavior of Na+, K+, and Mg2+ by ZCO electrode is explored.
