Abstract
As Veterinary Nurses, we provide comfort and care to our patients, whether that is in the form of analgesia, providing adequate bedding, exercise and physiotherapy or just good old tender loving care but all this is based on the history of the patient and a basic understanding of the illness or disorder from which the patient is suffering and the treatment it receives. This series of articles aims to give an insight into the reasons why dogs develop spinal disorders and understanding the approaches to their treatment.
