Abstract

High-pT elastic NN scattering is analyzed in terms of two quark interchange amplitudes, which conserve and depend on quark helicities, rather than using one quark helicity conserving interchange amplitude. The quark interchange model can then be shown to agree with the spin-spin data. Some predictions are made, especially for cm. scattering angle 90°.KeywordsParton ModelPolarize TargetQuark FlavourInstituut VoorLaboratory MomentumThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
