Abstract

The design and characteristics of the spectrometry system for β-particles and conversion electrons in an energy range of 15 to 3000 keV and X-rays in an energy range of 2 to 60 keV are described. The radiation is detected by a SiLi detector with a 500-mm2 sensitive area 4.5 mm thick. The energy resolution for the conversion electrons with an energy of 624 keV is < 2.0 keV, and for X-rays with an energy of 5.9 keV, it is <280 eV.
