Abstract
Research activities in the Solar Energy Research Institute's Resource Assessment and Instrumentation Branch that address the photovoltaic community's needs for spectral solar radiation data and measurements are described. In particular, this paper describes a cooperative effort to create a spectral solar radiation database at the Solar Energy Research Institute, and gives examples of the data and some applications.
