Abstract

This article analyzes a large sample of quasi-simultaneous spectra of core-dominated radio sources from radio to far-infrared wavelengths. The spectral structure reveals a difference between high-polarization quasars (HPQs) and BL Lacs at the 99.997% significance level. It also reveals strong correlations between spectral structure and VLBI polarimetry, γ-ray activity, optical polarization, and large-scale extended radio emission
