Abstract
Most of the existing PC-based structural design software packages are not devised for the design and analysis of marine structures. Therefore, users who are not particularly familiar with structural analysis may find them difficult to use. This paper presents the procedure for developing a software package that can be easily employed to design and analyse marine structures. Some of the useful facilities are described in detail with their possible applications highlighted.
