Modern international and Russian recommendations for monitoring and treatment of bronchial asthma (BA) in children make it possible to form a unified position and achieve significant success in diagnostics and treatment of BA, reduce the mortality and disability of patients. The current revision of the National Program incorporates up-to-date changes and additions in accordance with the latest data accumulated by domestic and foreign researchers: GINA 2020-2021, Federal Clinical Recommendations for BA (2019), clinical recommendations of the European Respiratory Society as well as foreign best practices for treatment of BA in children. The systematic work of experts and the continuous update of the National Program have ensured its wide implementation and significant progress in the diagnostics and treatment of BA coupled with decrease in mortality and disability of patients.
