Abstract

A survey of perceived quality of doctoral programs was conducted among two samples of speech communication professionals—one random and one composed of authors in the field. The survey was a partial replication of a previous study conducted in 1976. The results are presented for each sample separately and are broken down according to various specialities within the field of speech communication.
