Abstract

Lignite and coffee char-CO2 gasification had been studied via thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) at the heating rate of 15–25 K/min and the CO2 partial pressure range of 0.02–0.08 MPa. The relationship between gas partial pressure and reaction rate was explored in non-isothermal gasification. The results showed that there was a certain reaction order relationship between different CO2 partial pressures and reaction rate at a constant heating rate in non-isothermal gasification. When the heating rate was 15–25 K/min, the reaction order of coffee grounds char (CGC) was 0.14–0.36 in the char conversion range of 0.3–0.8. The reaction order of the lignite char (LC) was basically the same in the range of char conversion of 0.3–0.8, about 0.15±0.01.
