Abstract

Radiological and clinical symptoms of trigeminal neurinomas are related in 6 cases from our clinic. The clinical features are only superficially reported and not discussed. The radiological symptoms are extensively described. In particular, bone lesion at the orbital and pyramidal apices caused by an expansively growing tumour, and bone defects in the floor of the middle fossa, are found. The roentgenographic projections necessary for the identification of these alterations are discussed.
