Abstract

Abstract Three novel polymers, [Cd1.5(oba)(pcla)(CH3OH)](1), [Zn (oba)(4,4′-bpy)1.5]4(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)5 (2) and [Cu2(oba)2(DMF)](DMF)(H2O)(3) (H2oba = 4,4′-oxydibenzoic acid, Hpcla = picolinic acid) have been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 shows 2-D double layer structure with 1-D helix channels, while 2 and 3 display 3-D porous frameworks with different channels in their shapes and sizes. Moreover, complex 3 displays interesting hydrogen sorption behaviors and these materials are expected to afford potential applications.
